We easily spend 15+ years in school. An average person reads 120 books in a lifetime – that’s around 10.800.000 words. We spend more than 10 years (5.256.000 minutes) in front of a screen watching shows or scrolling through social media. The density of information that our minds deal with on a daily basis is immense and continues to increase at an exponential rate. How far has all this knowledge taken us in the pursuit of freedom and happiness? Not very far. I advocate for a pause.

A break from ever increasing information intake in order to remember a space deep within yourself that may have faded into obscurity: your heart.

You cannot teach a child how to ride a bike by explaining it conceptually. You cannot learn from a book how to kiss and you cannot prepare for falling in love. In the same spirit please do not try to rationally understand the following 10 »meditations« but truly sit with them and let your heart respond in its own way.

1️⃣ Mystery

Inquire and admit that you don't truly know a single thing except that you exist. That puts aside the mind and opens your heart to the unknown.

2️⃣ Grace

By Grace you were born. By Grace you wake up each morning. By Grace you'll lose your (identified) mind. Actively invite Grace into your life.

3️⃣ Acceptance

Radical self-acceptance is the gateway to freedom. It's the end of »I want myself to be different« aka the end of self-imposed suffering. You are already whole.

4️⃣ Forgiveness

Holding grudges is pointless. It recreates the past by transporting it into the now. Forgiveness releases bound negative energy and it’s about you, not them!

5️⃣ Surrender

God, Life, Truth, your Essential Self – surrender to the highest principle that speaks to you. May it swallow your mental troubles completely!

6️⃣ Devotion
