I have some memories from when I was a little boy observing the grown-ups from a distance trying to figure out how they know so much.
How do they know what's the right thing to do in life? How do they discern the difference between right and wrong? They seemed to be so certain and convinced of their ways. But something felt off.
Slowly, over time, I got the feeling that they are all making it up and that, in reality, nobody has a clue. Nobody actually knows!
What I do know is that we create stories about reality. Those stories create emotions. Those emotions steer our actions.
